Caramelized Grilled Pineapple is the easiest dessert you’ll ever whip up! All you need to make it are fresh, juicy pineapple rings, brown sugar, butter, and naturally some vanilla ice cream for serving. It’s the dessert that takes 15 minutes to make but still feels a little fancy, and perfect for any summer evening!
This is some serious summer goodness right here! Caramelized Pineapple is juicy, fresh, delicious, and rich all at the same time. Melting together a simple mixture of brown sugar and salted butter (yes, I ALWAYS use salted butter! There’s just no other way, in my opinion) makes the perfect caramely sauce to grill up some fresh pineapple in.
Mix that up on the stovetop, then dip your pineapple slices in it!
Use a grill pan or an actual grill to cook the pineapple slices on each side for a few minutes, until golden brown and caramelized. That’s it! It’s the easiest recipe ever – so simple, in fact, that I almost feel silly sharing it. But it’s also too good not to share!
Theres what your beautifully golden pineapple rings will look like once they’re all juicy and caramelized – straight off the grill. You MUST fill a bowl with a couple of slices, and top it with vanilla bean ice cream! Then, devour the whole thing and rejoice in these last few weeks of summer.
Happy grilling, friends!
