Lucky Charms Rice Krispie Treats are the perfect no-bake treat to whip up for St. Patrick’s Day! They require just 5 ingredients and 15 minutes to make. These will be a hit anywhere you take them!
Rice krispie treats are so universally loved – and this version with lucky charms is no exception! Here’s how to make ’em.
How to make Lucky Charm Rice Krispie Treats:
Start in the usual way – melt your butter in a large pot or dutch oven. Make sure you choose a large one so you have plenty of room to stir everything up!
Next, add the mini marshmallows, and stir until they’re completely melted. It should look like one cohesive mixture – you shouldn’t be able to see individual marshmallow pieces. Add a splash of vanilla and a pinch of salt for added depth of flavor.
Finally, the fun part! (Well, I mean, melting butter and marshmallows together is certainly fun, too.) Stir in the lucky charms! Make sure all the cereal gets nice and coated in that buttery, mallowy goodness.
Press this mixture into a parchment-lined pan, smoothing it down into an even layer. Sprinkle a few extra marshmallows on top and press them in gently. Let the bars set up for at least 1 hour or up to overnight before slicing and serving.
Just look at those colorful treats! Lucky charms aren’t just for kids – these fun treats are loved by all ages!
