Raspberry Sorbet Champagne Floats are an incredibly easy, yet festive, drink to serve on New Year’s Eve! Made with just 3 simple ingredients – fresh raspberries, raspberry sorbet, and your favorite champagne or sparkling juice.
How to make Champagne Floats:
This is truly the easiest recipe ever! Start by scooping sorbet into your glasses. One or two scoops per glass should do the trick. Then, add a handful of fresh berries that compliment the sorbet flavor. Here, we used raspberry sorbet and fresh raspberries! Then, pour your favorite champagne or sparkling juice over the top of this, and serve immediately.
Customizing this recipe:
It’s almost more like a template than a recipe – you can customize all the elements and flavors to fit your own preferences. I went with raspberry sorbet, fresh raspberries, and a rose sparkling juice. But, you could use orange sorbet, champagne, and raspberries or orange slices on the rim of the glass. I also hear there’s a blueberry sparkling juice that is delicious – I need to find some and try it with a berry sorbet! You get the point.
These can also easily be made as mocktails, since sparkling juice works just as well here as regular champagne.
This recipe can also be scaled up or down to make the desired number of drinks. You can even make just one, to treat yourself, or make a few to share with your family. I hope you have a wonderful and safe New Year’s Eve!
