Easy Puff Pastry Caramel Apple Turnovers

Flaky store-bought puff pastry encases caramelized, spiced apples, w/ a drizzle of salted caramel on top!

Step 1: Cook peeled & diced apples with sugar & spices until tender & caramelized. 

Step 2: Spoon the filling onto squares of puff pastry, brush with egg wash, & seal. 

Step 3: Crimp the puff pastry's edges and brush with egg wash. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar.

Step 4: Bake until golden brown and flaky!

Step 5: Serve warm, with a drizzle of salted caramel sauce.
