Here are the easy steps...

Step 1: Make the Cookie Dough. Brown the butter on the stovetop. Remove from heat  and whisk in sugars, eggs, and vanilla.

Fold in the dry ingredients just until a dough forms. Cover the bowl and chill while you make the filling.

Step 2: Make Cinnamon Roll Filling. In a medium bowl beat together butter, sugar, spices, and vanilla on high speed.

Step 3: Fill & Chill Cookies. Flatten dough balls and add filling. Form the dough around the cinnamon filling.
