Cream Cheese Frosted Red Velvet Cookies

Thick & chewy red velvet cookies studded with white chocolate chips & with swirls of silky cream cheese frosting

Step 1: Whisk together melted butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, vinegar, & red food coloring.

Step 2: Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda & powder, salt, and white chocolate chips (optional).

Step 3: Scoop dough into balls & chill at least 2 hours in the fridge or 30 in the freezer. 

Step 4: Bake cookies at 400 degrees for 4 minutes, then 365 for 4 minutes to get a crisp exterior & fudgy insides. 

Step 5: While the cookies cool, mix together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla for the frosting.
