1cupgood quality dark chocolate
1cupgood quality milk chocolate
1/2cupgranulated sugaradd 1-2 extra TBSP to taste if you want it sweeter
1canevaporated milk (12 ounces)
1 and 1/2tspvanilla
1TBSPsalted butter
Instructions
Make the Hot Fudge Sauce: Add chocolate, sugar, evaporated milk, and vanilla to a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Continue heating it and stirring it until it reaches a low boil. Once it gets there, remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the tablespoon of butter. That's it! The hot fudge will thicken up as it cools.
Serve + Store: Enjoy immediately. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 weeks.
Notes
NOTES: I've also made this with 1 and 1/2 cups dark chocolate and 3/4 cup milk chocolate. If you're not a big fan of dark chocolate, you could use 2 full cups of semisweet chocolate.
