Ingredients

For the Pizza Dough

  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 and 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Streusel

  • 3 tbsp cold salted butter, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp + 1 tsp olive oil
  • 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

For the Nutella Pizza

  • 1 cup nutella, plus more for serving

Instructions

  • Make the Pizza Dough: Combine sugar and warm water (105° F to 115° F) in a large bowl and whisk together. Add the yeast and don't mix – let sit for 5 minutes. It should be kind of creamy and foamy looking. Stir in the flour, olive oil, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla until a shaggy dough forms. Knead the dough for 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface. Set a timer! Gently shape the dough into a ball and place in the same bowl, sprayed with nonstick spray, and cover with a kitchen towel to rise for 1 hour.
  • Make the Streusel: Add all streusel ingredients to food processor and pulse until it clumps together.
  • Assemble the Pizza: Preheat the oven to 425° F. Press the bread dough into the greased pan and slightly up the sides. Spread the nutella on top of the dough, then sprinkle on the streusel.
  • Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is lightly browned and the streusel is golden. You can always lift one edge of the pizza up gently with a spatula to see that the bottom looks done.
  • Serve + Store: Let the pizza rest about 5 minutes, then drizzle more nutella over the warm pizza . (Or use a white chocolate glaze, in notes below.)
Slice, and enjoy warm! Store leftovers, tightly covered, in the fridge for up to a week. Re-warm the leftovers as desired.

Notes

Make the Glaze: While the pizza bakes, make the glaze. Melt 1/4 cup white chocolate chips in the microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring between each, until completely melted and smooth. Whisk in 1 tbsp melted butter, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tbsp milk, and 1 tbsp maple syrup, and 3/4 cup powdered sugar. You can also top with more nutella instead!
