Peach Cobbler Dump Cake

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake is full of summer flavor! Fresh sliced peaches are tossed with cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla, and topped with a yellow cake mix and melted butter for one of the easiest desserts. Serve with ice cream for the perfect summer treat!

Ingredients

For the Peach Filling

  • 8 medium peaches, sliced about 8 cups
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice

For the Topping

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup salted butter, melted
  • pinch of cinnamon sugar

For Serving

  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  • Prep: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 9x13 pan.
  • Make the Cobbler: Toss the sliced peaches together with the filling ingredients. Pour the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the peach filling. Pour the melted butter over the top of the cake mix. If some spots don't have butter, that's ok. Just try to get it as evenly as possible. Sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar over the top of the cobbler.
  • Bake: Bake for 60 to 75 minutes. The peaches will be very bubbly and the top will be golden brown.
  • Serve + Store: Let rest for a few minutes before serving, then serve while it's nice and warm with vanilla ice cream. This is best on the first day, but leftovers can be kept in the fridge and reheated in the oven to preserve the crispness of the topping.

Notes

Peeling Peaches: I don't peel my peaches because the skins don't bother me and I don't feel it's worth the time, but you can peel them if you prefer. 
Peaches: If fresh peaches are out of season, I recommend using frozen peaches, not canned peaches.
