These brown butter rice krispies require less than 15 minutes to make and only 3 ingredients - rice krispies, butter, and marshmallows!

1stick + 3 TBS salted butter
4 1/2cups7.5 ounces mini marshmallows
4 1/2cupsrice krispie cereal
Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper or spray with nonstick spray.
In a nonstick pot or pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Turn the heat to medium-low and continue cooking the butter - stirring the whole time. The butter will get foamy, then turn golden, then start to turn brown and develop a nutty sort of aroma. Continue stirring constantly - scraping any little brown bits off the bottom of the pan.
Once it reaches a dark brown color, remove from the heat and add the marshmallows. Stir quickly to melt the marshmallows and combine them with the butter. Add the rice krispies and stir.
Press the mixture into the pan and allow to cool!
NOTE: Store in an airtight container - not in the refrigerator.
