Peach Milkshakes

These Peach Milkshakes are full of the flavor of summer! A quick homemade peach pie filling is blended into vanilla bean ice cream along with milk, cinnamon, and a splash of vanilla. This is the most flavorful Peach Shake you'll ever taste!

Ingredients

For the Peach Pie Filling

  • 4 large fresh peaches, diced About 4 cups or 1.5 lbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 to 3 tbsp brown sugar Add the extra sugar to taste
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp corn starch
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp water

For the Peach Milkshakes

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • two thirds of the peach pie filling, from above
  • 3 cups vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste Or vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon plus more to taste
  • pinch of nutmeg

For Serving

  • extra peach pie filling
  • cinnamon sticks
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  • Make the Peach Pie Filling: Add diced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Cook for 6 minutes. It will be quite bubbly. Stir the corn starch and water together in a small bowl and stir into the peach mixture. Cook for 1 minute, then remove from the heat immediately and transfer to a medium bowl to cool completely in the fridge (it takes just 10-15 minutes to cool in the freezer!).
  •  Make the Milkshakes: Add the milk, peach pie filling, ice cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg to your blender. Blend until everything is combined into a creamy milkshake.
  • Serve + Store: Pour into glasses and top with the remaining peach pie filling, whipped cream, and a cinnamon stick.
    Leftover milkshake mixture can be frozen and enjoyed later as ice cream.
