Hello, healthy + fast breakfast smoothies. Get ready to take your breakfast game to the next level.

this recipe

These are my go-to for breakfast, or any time I don’t have something prepped for a meal. What makes these a go-to? Pretty much everything you need for these can be kept in the freezer, so no need to worry about your stash of key ingredients going bad!

What kind of ingredients are we talkin’ here?

Blueberries.

Strawberries.

Bananas.

Chia seeds.

Ice cubes (does that even count as an ingredient? Nah.)

Cashews.

Peaches.

You can buy frozen fruit or buy it fresh and keep it in the freezer. (I do a little of each, depending on the season.)

Another great thing about these? You can totally + easily customize them. Add protein powder or greek yogurt for some extra protein. Add spinach for a boost of veggie power. Add flax seeds for some fiber.

Not used to the no-sweetener-added smoothies?

No problem – A spoonful of honey or agave fixes that.

But, I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re soon converted to a no-sugar-added smoothie lifestyle because fruit is bomb on its own. (Mom, you should be proud. All those years of telling me “fruit IS a dessert” have finally paid off.)

One of my favorite shortcuts is throwing whole frozen strawberries in my smoothies. I buy them fresh, freeze them – without cutting the tops off. The little green part blends into the rest of the smoothie and is totally not noticeable.

I also buy fresh bananas, peel them and break them into chunks to keep in my freezer in a big ziplock bag.

If you’re having trouble blending smoothies in your blender, an easy solution is to add some water. Keep adding a little at a time until the ingredients start to easily blend.

These can all be made in 10 minutes or less – so you can get a stress-free start to your day. Get ready to rock your breakfast routine !

2 Ingredient Vegan Smoothie

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 3 ice cubes

3 Ingredient Peach Strawberry Smoothie

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 whole fresh peach, sliced (or about 1 1/2 cup of frozen slices)
  • 1/3 cup greek yogurt
  • 2-3 ice cubes

Creamy Dreamy Mango Pineapple Smoothie

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 TBS honey
  • 2 TBS chia seeds

Vegan Blueberry Power Smoothie

  • 1 date (pit removed)
  • 1 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/3 cup cashews
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 ice cubes

For each smoothie, blend all ingredients together, adding water as necessary to help if things aren’t blending. Taste & add a little honey or agave, if desired, and blend again.

These each yield 20-30 ounces of smoothie

*Note: If you have a relatively low-powered blender, you may need to soak the cashews in water for 20-30 minutes so they blend more smoothly. You can skip this if you don’t mind having a little bit of texture from them in your smoothie.
