These Halloween Dirt Cups are super simple to make, and are a fun way to celebrate the spooky season at home! All you need is cool whip, oreos, chocolate pudding mix, and whatever toppings you like to bring your spooky treats to life.

5 dirt cups decorated with oreo ghosts, peanut butter cup bats, a candy pumpkin patch, and gummy worms and spiders this recipe

These start with a super simple chocolate pudding filling – it’s made using chocolate pudding mix, milk, cool whip, and some crushed oreos. That and some more crushed oreos are all you need to build these dirt cups! Except – of course – for our fun decorations!

Don’t be intimidated by the decorations on these – they’re all super easy to make! I used oreo halves with the cream filling to make ghosts – just pop on some eyeball sprinkles to finish the look.

The other half of those oreos can be sliced in half and attached to the back of a reese’s cup to make a bat. Use a dab of frosting to attach the wings and some eyes.

Make a cute pumpkin patch by piping green frosting onto the dirt cup, and set candy pumpkins all around!

If decorating reallyyyy isn’t your thing and you want the simplest option of all, simply top these with gummy spiders and gummy worms!

No matter how you decorate these, they’re a fun and cute Halloween treat that adults and kids will love! Have a happy and safe Halloween.
