Halloween is right around the corner and we all know one of the best parts of Halloween is the food! Hot Apple Cider, Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting, and Chicken Gnocchi Soup – is your mouth watering too? It wouldn’t be Halloween without enjoying all the flavors of the season! Here are my top picks for sweet treats, savory snacks, dinner recipes and drinks for your Halloween festivities!

Sweet Treats

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies with Brown Butter Cream Cheese Frosting – One of my favorite desserts to date! Soft and pillowy pumpkin whoopie pies filled with the most delicious frosting!

Maple Bacon Cupcakes with Brown Butter Frosting and Candied Bacon – Truly the most insane dessert ever. We’ve got a moist and fluffy cupcake flavored with real maple syrup, a thick pile of brown butter frosting on top, and it’s topped with crispy, sweet candied bacon. These will be gobbled up in a flash!

Tomato Basil Soup with Roasted Heirloom Tomatoes – The depth of flavor in this soup comes from basic pantry ingredients like fire-roasted diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and garlic – but is amped up with the addition of roasted heirloom tomatoes, and of course, a good dose of basil and cream.

Apple Cider Slushies – Made with just a few basic ingredients – and the secret is freezing some of your apple cider so the flavor doesn’t get watered down once you blend everything up. Add a splash of bourbon or apple brandy for a fun adult twist!
